Parkview High School received 2 grants totaling $1165.00.

Teacher Description Committee Recommendation
Kendra Bensch Anatomical Skeleton Model – to be used to teach carious parts of the skeleton system.  Analyze interdependence of skeletal and muscular systems as they relate to the body. $525
Scott Hague Orchestra/Guitar room recording equipment.  Use to record band/chorus/orchestra and play back through sound system so students can hear and study their performances. $640

Trickum Middle School received 1 Award totaling $1499.90

Teacher Description Committee Recommendation
Jeff Schaefer 10 Guitar Amps.  Mr. Schaefer requested 10 amps to help complete a class set of 30 electric guitars and 30 guitar amps. $1,499.90

Camp Creek Elementary School received 2 grants totaling $1000.00

Sarah Horstmann Purchase additional musical instruments for the music classes. This money can be used to purchase two additional instruments of the teacher’s choice. $851
Jennifer Trice Haynes Rockalinguq Teacher Subscription – to enhance the Spanish special now being taught at CCES. Program includes music, video clips and other activities. $149

Knight Elementary School received 1 grant totaling $710.00

Christine Christopher Outdoor Classroom and Butterfly Garden – teacher wants to revitalize the outdoor classroom and use butterflies for students to study – all grades would be involved. $710

Mountain Park Elementary School received 2 grants totaling $1,120.00

Emily McGilvray David Ginn Westward Expansion Magic Show – magic show to inform students of Lewis and Clark expedition. $200
